Privacy Policy

Effective October 19, 2026. This policy explains what we collect on this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

This website is operated by [BRAND_LEGAL_NAME] (“Land Desk,” “we,” “us”). Questions? Contact [BRAND_EMAIL], [BRAND_PHONE], or write to [BRAND_ADDRESS].

What we collect

  • What you give us in our forms: your name, phone number, email, the county, parcel ID or address of your property, and anything you add in the notes. Builders also share company details and buying criteria.
  • Consent records: if you agree to calls and texts, we keep the exact consent wording, the date and time, your IP address and browser type, as proof of your consent.
  • Basic technical data: like nearly every website, our servers log IP addresses and browser information for security, spam prevention and rate limiting.
  • Public records: to evaluate land, we use publicly available property information such as county parcel, tax and GIS records.

We don’t use advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this website, and we don’t set cookies for marketing.

How we use it

  • To research your property and respond to your request, including making an offer.
  • To match builders with land that fits their criteria.
  • To contact you by phone, email, or text if you’ve agreed to texts.
  • To keep records required for our business, prevent fraud and spam, and comply with law.

Text messages (SMS)

If you check the consent box, Land Desk may send you text messages about your request. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent is never a condition of any purchase or sale.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except service providers that deliver messages on our behalf.

When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to do business with you: with the closing attorney or title company handling a transaction; with a builder or other buyer if we assign a purchase contract for your property (they receive the property and contract details needed to close); with service providers who help us run our CRM, phone, email and hosting, under confidentiality obligations; and when required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and consent and transaction records for as long as the law requires or allows us to defend claims. Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless we must keep it for legal reasons.

Your choices

  • Opt out of texts by replying STOP, and of calls or email by telling us.
  • Ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by contacting us at the details above.

Security

Submissions are sent over HTTPS and stored on servers we control with access limited to our team. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send sensitive information such as Social Security or bank account numbers through our forms.

Children

This site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
